Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of professional experience in software development and operations
- 3-5 years of experience in leading or managing application development projects of various scales
- 3-5 years of experience leading small technical teams
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in AI-enabled tools and capabilities
- Strong understanding of relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools
- Familiarity with automation tools for security processes
- Experience in a DevOps engineering culture, including technologies like Docker/Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and Terraform
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Strong grasp of architecture and design best practices
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols like HTTPS and TCP/IP
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical team in the solution design phase, guiding through requirements gathering and project initiation
- Establish and uphold design patterns and coding standards that promote secure, scalable, and efficient solutions
- Communicate key responsibilities to foster a positive team environment focused on achieving business objectives
- Ensure the teams development and operational efforts are properly structured and prioritized
- Guide the engineering team in compliance with Global Cyber Security requirements
- Provide security architecture and engineering services for common platform components
- Offer consultative support to application product teams
- Collaborate with Starbucks Cloud and Global Cyber Security teams
- Define and maintain processes for the teams production support responsibilities
- Ensure all platform application support documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Lead the team during high-severity security-related operational incidents
