Requirements

Must:
We are looking for exceptional candidates with the following qualifications: - A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with 2 years of relevant industry experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience. - A minimum of 2 years implementing and fine-tuning machine learning algorithms, particularly in a distributed training environment using common libraries (e.g., Ray, DeepSpeed, HF Accelerate, FSDP). - Strong programming proficiency in Python, with expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. - Experience with orchestration platforms and cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) as well as their machine learning offerings. - Familiarity with MLOps platforms (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases). - A solid grasp of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will undertake the following tasks: - Implement and refine cutting-edge machine learning algorithms/models to train multimodal foundation models on neural data. - Create and sustain scalable, efficient, and reproducible machine learning pipelines. - Execute extensive machine learning experiments utilizing the latest MLOps tools. - Conduct large-scale distributed model training on high-performance computing clusters or cloud-based platforms. - Collaborate with machine learning researchers, data scientists, and systems engineers to ensure the smooth integration of models and infrastructure. - Monitor and enhance model performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness. - Stay informed of the latest advancements in machine learning tools, frameworks, and methodologies. - Other duties may be assigned as needed.
