Requirements
Must:
- Degree or diploma in project management, information technology, construction management, or a related field is beneficial.
- Proven experience in managing technology deployments, digital signage installations, IT rollouts, or network infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices is advantageous.
- Strong ability to interpret technical design documents and convert them into actionable project plans.
- Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Established capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and a diverse array of client stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, suitable for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in risk mitigation, issue management, and change control processes.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, ClickUp, or similar tools).
- Valid Ontario Class G Drivers License and access to a vehicle for business purposes (mileage covered).
- Displays strong judgment, initiative, and dedication to continuous improvement.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in fast-paced settings.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- At least 7 years of project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure successful delivery of assigned digital and network installation projects.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery and transition to service.
- Manage cross-functional teams including Design Solutions, Engineering, IT/Network Operations, Procurement, Production, Shipping, and Service.
- Convert technical design documents into implementable project plans, schedules, and installation requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including scope, deliverables, risk registers, action logs, and change requests.
- Ensure alignment of all project activities with client requirements, technical specifications, and installation standards.
- Engage with stakeholders across marketing, IT, construction, and operations to guarantee clarity and alignment.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and critical paths, making proactive adjustments to maintain delivery targets.
- Identify, assess, and document project risks, challenges, constraints, and dependencies.
- Oversee site readiness, installation coordination, and deployment activities with internal teams and external partners.
- Communicate ongoing updates to key stakeholders, including project sponsors, internal leadership, and client representatives.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on milestones, risks, deliverables, and overall project health.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with internal teams, subcontractors, and external consultants.
- Lead planning for implementation, installation scheduling, and site mobilization for digital and network deployments.
Description
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager for our clients Media Division. In this full-time permanent position, you will manage multiple high-priority projects involving digital signage, network deployments, and technology installations in construction and renovation settings. Our hybrid work environment allows you to work 1-2 days in the office located in Markham.
