Requirements
Must:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Web Development, or a similar field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Drupal development (Drupal 9 or 10)
- Strong knowledge of PHP (8.2+), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and Twig
- Experience in creating custom modules and implementing business logic beyond standard site configurations
- Proven ability with Drupal Commerce, including checkout customizations and order processing workflows
- Familiarity with the Pantheon platform (Dev/Test/Live workflows, Terminus CLI, Quicksilver) is advantageous
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices
- Experience integrating Drupal with external systems using REST APIs (e.g., CRM or LMS platforms)
- Exposure to other CMS or e-commerce systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for incoming web support inquiries; troubleshoot issues, prioritize bugs, and coordinate solutions with internal teams
- Design and implement custom Drupal modules to address business needs, including advanced search functionalities and course discovery tools
- Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using AJAX, JavaScript, and Twig for a seamless user experience
- Create and maintain integrations between Drupal and major platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Brightspace LMS, and payment systems like Stripe
- Support and enhance a customized Drupal Commerce setup, covering checkout processes, tax/shipping logic, and order management features
- Monitor site performance, caching techniques (Redis/Varnish), and overall scalability within the Pantheon environment
- Ensure adherence to accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and security best practices across all web assets
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and IT teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
- Keep up-to-date technical documentation for custom developments, integrations, and system configurations
