Requirements
Must:
- 1–2 years of IT or helpdesk support experience preferred
- High school diploma required; Associates degree or technical certifications (A+, CCNA) are a strong plus
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts
- Capability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure and communicate clearly at all levels
- Highly organized, self-sufficient, and proactive in task management
- Reliable transportation for occasional client site visits in Orange and LA County
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and navigate tight spaces
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iPhone/Android)
- Manage the ticket queue from start to finish, ensuring requests are handled promptly
- Diagnose and resolve networking issues, including VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and LAN configurations
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Oversee user accounts and group policies in Active Directory
- Work with cloud platforms like Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS (training provided)
- Utilize ticketing and IT management tools to efficiently track and resolve incidents
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all issues are addressed thoroughly
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor when communicating with clients
