Requirements
Must:
- Legally authorized to live and work in Canada
- Residing in Lacombe or nearby areas
- Over 5 years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in C or C++ programming
- Knowledge or experience in embedded system programming
- High attention to detail and precision
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse / STM32CubeIDE, VS Code/Visual Studio, Git (specifically GitHub), and Microsoft Office 365
Responsibilities
- Lead electronics programming for RV control modules, HMI screens, and switch interfaces
- Design, architect, and produce high-performance, maintainable code that is well-documented and testable
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize software for embedded systems
- Identify challenges, propose solutions, implement fixes, and keep documentation updated
- Draft technical specifications for new projects with minimal oversight
- Accurately predict project timelines and adhere to deadlines
- Collaborate with management, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope and assist in planning
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior and intermediate developers to enhance their estimation and technical skills
- Engage with customers as needed to gather technical requirements and clarify project necessities
- Execute priority programming and integration tasks for time-sensitive projects
- Travel occasionally as mandated for project or client support
- Undertake additional tasks or special projects as directed by Spyder Controls
