Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in computer system development and programming
- Expert-level proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and Python
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Laravel, Django, and Express
- Experience using AWS serverless and containerization platforms (e.g., Lambda, ECS, Fargate)
- Strong background in system-level programming with the ability to write and debug complex code interacting with hardware and system components
- In-depth understanding of multithreading and object-oriented design and analysis
- Proficiency in version control systems, bug tracking, and build systems
- Completion of a 2-3 year college program or bachelors degree; a masters degree is a plus
- Strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, maintain, enhance, and test software code for both in-house and customer-facing applications
- Research and assess diverse software products to create robust and scalable back-end solutions that fulfill business needs
- Support, maintain, implement, and modify existing software through program testing and adjustments
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve various technical issues related to operating system levels
- Monitor program usage to control access to systems
- Write operating instructions to prepare references for users
- Ensure smooth communication and data exchange between our systems and external platforms
- Mentor junior developers by guiding them on best practices, conducting code reviews, and solving technical challenges
- Write and maintain unit tests to guarantee adequate code coverage and uphold high-quality standards
- Create reports, manuals, and other documentation, ensuring clarity and completeness in the development process through tools like JIRA and Confluence
