Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive hands-on expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Load Balancing, and CloudWatch
- Proven track record managing Google Cloud accounts, including identity and security settings
- Experience in supporting Databricks environments, including clusters, jobs, repositories, workflows, and access management
- Proficient programming skills in Python and Node.js, with familiarity in React for internal tool development
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Travis CI
- Solid experience with Docker and contemporary container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, or GKE
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, VPNs, load balancers, and microservices architectures
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure
- Manage and optimize our AWS environment, ensuring efficient performance
- Administer Google Cloud accounts, overseeing permissions, security policies, and cost controls
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines across various repositories and services
- Advance our Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to support Databricks workflows and deployment pipelines
- Work closely with full-stack developers, data scientists, and product managers to align infrastructure decisions with business objectives
- Contribute to internal tool development using React, Python, and Node.js as needed
- Develop automation tools and scripts to improve development and operational efficiency
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for ongoing operational visibility
- Troubleshoot system incidents, implement root-cause solutions, and enhance system resilience
- Enforce strong security and access control standards within the cloud infrastructure
