Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of electronics is advantageous.
- Proficient in computer usage, particularly with Word and Excel.
- Quick learning ability and adaptability to our CRM and order entry systems.
- Strong communication abilities with patience in engaging with the public via phone, email, and text.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse individuals under stress.
- Capacity for continuous learning as product advancements occur.
- Strong decision-making skills aimed at achieving optimal outcomes for customers and the company.
- Good organizational skills with timely responses.
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to partake in on-call responsibilities every fifth week, including overnight and weekends.
- Ability and willingness to travel, occasionally overnight.
- Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Competence in operating Bucket Trucks and Scissor Lifts.
Responsibilities
- Answer and troubleshoot incoming technical calls from customers, managing service tickets in our current system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by swiftly diagnosing and resolving issues, even in challenging scenarios.
- Stay updated on new product developments and modifications of existing products.
- Accurately process sales orders in our operational systems.
- Handle credit card transactions while adhering to credit policies.
- Participate in a weekly rotation for on-call responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Electronic Tech regarding repair details, including software versions, configurations, and parts shipments.
- Engage in additional tasks such as report preparation, updating installation manuals, or fabricating materials for installation projects when required.
- Travel for field repairs and installations as necessary, which may include overnight stays.
- Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues in the department.
- Perform various other duties and assignments as necessary.
