Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or possess a work-related equivalent.
- I have over 5 years of experience in PHP/Laravel software development.
- I bring more than 3 years of experience with database technologies such as MySQL and MariaDB.
- I have spent 5+ years working extensively with front-end technologies, specifically Vue and React.
- I possess over 3 years of production experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and AKS.
- I am familiar with AWS products including S3, SQS, SNS, and MediaConvert.
- I have experience in writing documentation and creating UML, architectural, and data flow diagrams.
- I have built integrations with vendors and in-house APIs.
- I have knowledge of performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
- I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling me to effectively work across various geographies.
Responsibilities
- I am responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust PHP applications, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
- I provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, promoting best practices through training sessions, code reviews, and active involvement in planning meetings.
- I work collaboratively with engineering, product teams, and vendors to assess software solutions and resolve integration challenges.
- I create and maintain thorough documentation for new and existing systems, including UML, architectural, and data flow diagrams.
- I offer technical guidance and oversight to my teams, ensuring adherence to best practices via training, examples, documentation, and engaging in team planning meetings.
- I analyze and enhance application performance and scalability, implementing solutions to any identified challenges.
- I collaborate with DevOps engineers to establish effective observability standards and ensure seamless production deployment alongside post-production reliability.
- I liaise with vendors to evaluate software and address integration difficulties.
Description
I am seeking a highly skilled PHP professional to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our Customer Relationship Management platform. This platform is built with user-friendly and innovative technology that empowers client-facing teams to more efficiently attract, convert, and retain clients automatically, enabling them to increase earnings without adding to their workload. Your strong technical prowess and problem-solving skills will be vital in driving the success of our projects. This position is a contract role that offers a pay rate of $60.00 - $65.00 per hour, with an expectation of 40 hours of work per week. The location is remote.
