Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
- I possess 3 to 5 years of pertinent hands-on experience as an Integration Engineer, including at least 3 years focused on developing or supporting Mulesoft APIs or similar technologies.
- I demonstrate proficiency in the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, encompassing API management, data transformation, and flow design. I also have knowledge of related technologies such as Java, XML, JSON, and REST APIs.
- I have advanced knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform components, including API Manager and Runtime Manager.
- I have a proven capability to conduct root cause analysis and effectively troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- I understand industry-standard system architectures and management tools.
- I have experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- I exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, allowing me to work efficiently with diverse teams.
- Preferred experience includes building monitoring and alerting dashboards using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, etc., and knowledge of other site reliability best practices.
Responsibilities
- I provide advanced technical support to address complex issues related to Mulesoft integrations, including diagnosing and resolving system errors and performance challenges.
- I collaborate closely with developers to understand the root causes of problems and apply effective solutions.
- I manage integrations with various systems and tools to ensure smooth data flow and process automation.
- I offer expert support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and promptly resolve technical challenges.
- I lead initiatives aimed at monitoring and enhancing the reliability, stability, and performance of the systems with a focus on end-user experience and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize impact.
- I identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the support team.
- I respond to significant incidents and am skilled at quickly identifying and resolving issues to prevent financial losses. I participate in root cause analysis to identify processes that can prevent future outages through interim or permanent fixes and work on improving monitoring and alerting to catch known issues proactively.
- I manage daily incidents, conduct health checks, collaborate closely with the team and business partners to provide resolutions, and perform necessary follow-ups. I escalate problems to relevant teams as required.
- I assist with deployments and oversee the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- I develop and deliver knowledge documents, sharing insights with the team.
- I provide 24/7 support and partake in an on-call rotation for critical production systems.
Description
This is a contract position, and the compensation ranges from $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. I have at least 7 years of IT experience, which is required for this role. The work location is in-person.
