Requirements
Must:
We require a solid understanding of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and basic Unix. Experience in application support for Tier 1 or mission-critical applications within large enterprises or manufacturing shop floors is essential, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. While familiarity with Java, ETL, or scheduling tools is advantageous, it is not mandatory. A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field is necessary. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts (7 AM – 4 PM EST and 2 PM – 11 PM EST) and participate in an on-call rotation for off-hours and weekends, typically once every four weeks.
Responsibilities
I expect the candidate to demonstrate a good grasp of ITIL processes and possess basic knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and project management or tracking tools like Rally. The ability to perform aggressive problem diagnosis along with creative problem-solving skills is essential. The individual should exhibit industry-standard technology skills, including proficiency with personal computers, operating systems, and web technologies. Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required, along with a commitment to following documented processes and accurately documenting day-to-day support activities.
Description
This position is offered as a contract role, with pay ranging from $30.00 to $33.00 per hour. The work location for this opportunity is fully remote.
