Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related field. - I have over 5 years of professional experience in web development, with hands-on expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - I possess at least 2 years of experience in project management or technical project ownership, particularly in overseeing end-to-end web or data system projects. - I have a proven history of maintaining and modernizing legacy systems while integrating new technologies, such as React. - I am skilled in troubleshooting system and integration issues, performing data migrations, and managing version control with Git. - I can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - I have experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment or a 24/7 operational setting.

Responsibilities

- I will maintain, update, and optimize a legacy PHP/MySQL website, planning modernization and enhancement initiatives. - I will lead the planning and execution of web development projects from the initial concept through to deployment, ensuring alignment with internal business requirements. - I will work collaboratively with designers, developers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. - I will manage project timelines and milestones using tools such as Trello, Jira, or Microsoft Planner, adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines. - I will develop new features using React.js, JavaScript, and supporting frameworks, including Next.js, Node.js/Express.js, Redux or Recoil, Tailwind CSS or Styled Components, and TypeScript. - I will oversee system architecture design and ensure best practices in both front-end and back-end development. - I will manage and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) while ensuring data integrity. - I will execute data migrations and integrations accurately and reliably. - I will manage version control and file transfers using Git/GitHub and FTP. - I will configure and maintain reporting through Google Analytics (including GA4) and BigQuery. - I will coordinate with IT and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools. - I will conduct and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for system or process failures, coordinating fixes and long-term prevention strategies. - I will serve as the primary contact for urgent technical issues, which may involve occasional after-hours support when business operations are affected. - I will identify opportunities for UI/UX enhancements, performance improvements, and workflow automation. - (Preferred) I have familiarity with Microsoft Access for data analysis or legacy integration.
