Requirements
Must:
- Eagerness to learn and advance in an IT support role
- Fundamental understanding of Layer 1 technology (cabling, physical network components, hardware connections)
- Dependable personal vehicle and valid drivers license
- Strong work ethic accompanied by a positive attitude
- Capacity to follow directives and work independently when necessary
- Effective communication abilities and customer service skills
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (preferred)
- Previous experience with PC hardware, printers, or networking equipment (preferred)
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or practical experience in IT or technology-related disciplines (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and issue resolution of IT equipment and systems
- Perform basic cabling tasks such as running Ethernet cables, connecting patch panels, and device hookups
- Provide support to users regarding hardware, connectivity, and basic technical concerns
- Collaborate with senior technicians for both on-site and remote support tasks
- Document work performed and adhere to standard IT procedures
- Travel to client or company locations as required
