Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field
- Experience with RF device testing, yield engineering, or semiconductor production
- Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data analysis, root cause analysis, and yield correlation
- Proficient understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), 8D, and risk/change management processes
- Knowledge of the relationship between semiconductor manufacturing processes and device functionality
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for test data analysis (e.g., JMPs JSL, Python)
- Proficiency in JMP statistical software, Microsoft Office Suite, database systems, and KLayout CAD software
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing with frequent product changes and yield variation management
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required to meet important deadlines
Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on fab yields and RF test outcomes to detect trends and anomalies
- Comprehend S-parameters, RF testing, and wafer probing processes
- Develop, implement, and sustain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, process capability (Cpk) assessments, and statistical tools for prompt detection of excursions and improvement potentials
- Employ structured problem-solving methodologies—such as 8D, PFMEA, DOE, multivariate analyses—to address excursions and enhance yield performance
- Lead improvement initiatives that elevate FAB yield and operational performance
- Collaborate across various teams, including process, device, product, quality & reliability, software, and design engineers
- Create and maintain automated yield dashboards, pareto charts, and SPC systems for ongoing monitoring and real-time data-driven activities
- Compile, sustain, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), engineering instructions, and documentation to guarantee consistency and knowledge preservation
