Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
- Over 1 year of professional experience in mechanical or electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing (internships and projects included)
- Masters degree in an engineering discipline (preferred)
- Familiarity with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems (preferred)
- Experience with composites and avionics systems integration (preferred)
- Background in documentation and configuration management (preferred)
- Proficient in writing test plans and procedures with decision-making expertise (preferred)
- Experience in a production environment (preferred)
- Strong engineering intuition and critical thinking skills, comfortable with ambiguity (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain test hardware and software to evaluate system performance for mobility network applications
- Diagnose real-time hardware issues and provide feedback to relevant teams to prevent recurrences
- Assist in investigations for non-conformances and collaborate with engineers to draft test requirements for flight hardware, promoting design enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to develop necessary test systems for Starlink hardware
- Create and adjust software applications for data acquisition and control systems
