Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
- At least 1 year of experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or equivalent
- Experience in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale distributed systems for handling high-volume data
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization
- Familiarity with Linux, version control, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring tools
- Availability to work extended hours and weekends as required
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a robust, distributed telemetry platform that can ingest, process, store, and query data at a petabyte level
- Work collaboratively with fellow engineers on architecture, design, and code evaluations
- Liaise closely with satellite and rocket teams to understand mission requirements and develop sophisticated technical solutions
- Assume end-to-end responsibility for the entire software and hardware ecosystem
- Analyze business challenges, develop effective solutions, and apply first principles thinking
