Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field OR a minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in software development using C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience with distributed systems (internships considered).
- Familiarity with networking principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and expand a new Content Delivery Network (CDN) for Starlink.
- Create robust and scalable distributed systems.
- Develop tools and alerting systems for the real-time monitoring and maintenance of complex, mission-critical systems.
- Formulate algorithms to assess and enhance hardware usage and cost-effectiveness, based on key performance metrics.
- Implement systems to manage traffic across various CDNs.
- Engage in and lead architectural, design, and code review sessions.
- Create prototypes and oversee experiments to validate future design ideas and applications for Starlink.
