Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field; OR a minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in programming with Python, C, or C++.
- Familiarity with real-time rendering, game engine development, or high-performance computing.
- Understanding of network topology, numerical optimization, or graph theory techniques.
- Proven experience in developing, debugging, and deploying software for real-world applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and engineering principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Experience with distributed systems and internet services.
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, real-time software for managing network topology for our satellite-based global network to optimize mobile connectivity and user experience.
- Take part in and lead architecture, design, and code review sessions.
- Create prototypes and oversee experiments to validate key design concepts.
- Develop tools for software development, deployment, data analysis, visualization, and test execution in various environments, including virtual and real hardware simulations and on-orbit testing.
