Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related scientific field; or at least 2 years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science
- Programming skills in Python, C#, Java, Scala, Go, or similar languages
- Familiarity with big data processing and analytics tools such as Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, SQL, or similar
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, and data lakes like HBase, Hive, Delta Lake, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB or similar
- Proficiency using data visualization tools such as Grafana, Jupyter Notebooks, Metabase, PowerBI, or similar
- Good understanding of version control, testing, and CI/CD processes
- Some front-end development experience with Angular, React, or similar JavaScript frameworks
- Basic knowledge of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and frameworks
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, willingness to undergo drug testing and work extended hours if necessary

- Design and develop highly reliable and scalable data pipelines to support engineering teams at SpaceX
- Create innovative applications that enhance operational efficiency within the company
- Collaborate with fellow engineers on architectural decisions, design, and code reviews
- Build prototypes to validate key design concepts and evaluate technical constraints
- Take ownership of all facets of software engineering and product development
- Analyze business challenges, propose efficient solutions, and apply first principles thinking
