Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience with at least 7 years in software development
- Proficient in assembly, C, or C++ programming languages
- Familiarity with real-time rendering, game engine development, or high-performance computing
- Knowledge of network topology, numerical optimization techniques, or convex optimization
- Experience in developing, debugging, and deploying software for real-world applications
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience with distributed systems and internet services
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends, as required
Responsibilities
- Create highly dependable, real-time software to optimize beam utilization for user satisfaction within our satellite internet network
- Lead and engage in architecture, design, and code evaluations
- Build prototypes and oversee experiments to validate core design principles
- Develop resources for software development, data analysis, and testing across diverse environments, including real hardware and on-orbit testing
