Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline with 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development; or 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development in lieu of a degree (internship experience counts).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for production environments.
- Front-end development experience using frameworks like Angular, React, or other JavaScript libraries.
- Knowledge of database systems, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent technologies.
- Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Expertise in optimizing and enhancing application performance.
- Experience with build systems (Make, Bazel/Pants/Buck, Gradle) and package management tools (pip, npm).
- Strong detail orientation.
- Familiarity with UNIX-like operating systems and CI/CD tools.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences and a readiness to take responsibility for all outcomes.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities
- Create well-structured, responsive, and efficient web applications.
- Develop reliable software systems for Starlink.
- Design and establish fault-tolerant, highly available networks that can operate for extended durations with minimal maintenance at scale.
- Write expert-level TypeScript React code suitable for modern web browsers.
- Handle full-stack application development within a .NET microservices architecture running in Kubernetes.
- Prioritize continuous monitoring and alerting to support data-driven business decisions and enhance system quality and observability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful business outcomes.
- Work with other engineering teams across Starlink to enhance our engineering processes related to architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Investigate users issues to discover and develop effective solutions.
- Contribute to team discussions regarding architecture, design, and code reviews.
