Senior Security Software Engineer, Starshield

- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related STEM field plus 5+ years of professional experience in security software development; or 7+ years of relevant experience in place of a degree - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C++, or Golang - Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure - Familiarity with solutions utilizing LLMs, LLM-based agents, or similar AI technologies - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity while taking ownership of results - Knowledge of essential security engineering principles, including cryptography and network security - Proven capability in designing and securing agents capable of executing long-term autonomous tasks - Experience in red teaming or penetration testing LLMs, comprising prompt injection and data exfiltration techniques - Background in deploying and managing LLMs, ensuring their reliable and scalable performance - Track record of enhancing security in complex systems through collaboration - Exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal formats - Ability to function independently as well as part of a team - Advanced degree in a technical or engineering discipline is a plus - Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q security clearance is preferred.
