Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
- Over 5 years of professional experience in C, C++, or Python
- Proven experience in developing, debugging, and deploying real-world software applications
- Strong foundational knowledge in electronics, mathematics, physics, and RF communication systems
- Excellent skills in debugging, optimizing performance, and conducting unit tests
- Innovative problem-solving abilities and outstanding analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
- Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements
- Willingness to extend hours and work on weekends to achieve critical goals
Responsibilities
- Engage in resolving complex challenges related to all facets of RF silicon designed internally
- Initiate new RF silicon by being the first engineer to activate chips during their initial power-up
- Create and develop modular, reusable software driver libraries for low-level silicon control, focusing on timing, throughput, performance, and simplicity
- Construct hardware test platforms (hardware-in-the-loop/HTIL/HIL) and validate silicon driver software on actual hardware or FPGA emulators
- Collaborate with various project-specific flight software teams, including satellite phased arrays and user terminal production
