Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in materials science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or manufacturing engineering - Over 5 years of proven expertise in PCB reliability or PCB fabrication - Familiarity with PCB materials and PCB fabrication processes within the industry - Understanding of IPC manufacturing standards - Proficient in conducting failure analysis and utilizing tools such as X-Ray, cross-sectioning, and polishing techniques - Knowledge of statistical methods, including experimental design and process capability analysis - Ability to collect, interpret, and leverage data for continuous improvement - Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of PCB stackups for new PCB design projects - Spearhead the integration of new materials by closely collaborating with design engineers and the supply chain team - Develop test plans and oversee PCB reliability campaigns for the mass production of PCBs used in the Starlink program - Manage Design for Manufacturing (DFM) processes throughout design releases and ensure effective communication between engineering and vendors - Analyze trends to discover opportunities for enhancing product output, quality, and cost efficiency - Provide constructive feedback to engineering teams to refine designs for manufacturability - Diagnose reliability failures and implement corrective actions
