Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in materials science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or manufacturing engineering
- Over 5 years of experience in PCB reliability or PCB fabrication
- Familiarity with PCB materials and fabrication processes from the industry
- Understanding of IPC manufacturing standards
- Experience in conducting failure analysis investigations utilizing tools such as X-Ray, cross-sectioning, and polishing
- Knowledge of statistical techniques like experimental design and process capability analysis
- Proven ability to collect, analyze, and apply data for systemic enhancements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of PCB stackups for new PCB designs
- Initiate the introduction of new materials in collaboration with design engineers and the supply chain team
- Develop test plans and drive reliability campaigns for the high-volume production of PCBs for the Starlink program
- Oversee design for manufacturability (DFM) as part of design releases, process documentation, and facilitate communication between engineering and vendors
- Detect trends and opportunities for optimizing product output, enhancing quality, and reducing costs
- Offer constructive feedback to engineering design teams to improve manufacturability
- Identify reliability failures, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions
