Senior Network Edge Engineer - Starlink

- Over 5 years of experience in network infrastructure, specifically in peering, interconnection engineering, or backbone architecture - Proficient in BGP, IP routing, and network telemetry - Familiarity with Internet exchange points (IXPs), colocation environments, optical transport, and traffic engineering strategies - Preferred: 10+ years in designing and optimizing internet interconnects and peering systems - Preferred: Experience in identifying, negotiating, and executing legal agreements and requirements - Preferred: Proven track record in building systems for supporting and maintaining peering/interconnections - Preferred: Extensive professional connections within the global ISP, IXP, and content distribution sectors - Preferred: Experience with real-time monitoring and alerting systems for interconnect performance and routing anomalies - Preferred: Knowledge of distributed systems akin to Starlink and their relationship with terrestrial and orbital networks - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including producing technical documentation and reporting to stakeholders - Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (10-15%) as required - Must be available for on-call responsibilities - Must be open to working extended hours when necessary
