Senior NDE Engineer

- Create and implement advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions - Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems to resolve manufacturing quality issues - Collaborate with vehicle engineering teams across all programs to define inspection requirements and capabilities - Conduct early inspection prototype development and bench-top validation to mitigate risks of new technologies - Work with vendors and tooling groups to establish requirements and manage project delivery - Achieve targets for nondestructive automation initiatives, enhance probability of detection, reduce cycle time, and minimize defects - Innovate technology in emerging nondestructive methodologies - Assist NDE specialists in developing, qualifying, and deploying new inspection processes, including documentation and training - Present risk and performance analyses alongside recommendations to cross-functional teams, including executive management - Manage multiple priorities and support various projects simultaneously - Define test plans for hardware or software integration that match program timelines - Facilitate cross-functional discussions on nondestructive design and analysis with electrical, software, manufacturing, and vehicle design teams - Establish data collection and analysis processes at all project phases - Troubleshoot hardware-software interactions during design, launch, and deployment phases - Utilize field data to enhance design and performance of NDE systems.
