Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, physics, or related scientific discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in the aerospace or space sector
- More than 5 years of technical project management and systems engineering experience
- Familiarity with launch vehicles, spacecraft, or similar aerospace systems
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal technical communication skills
- Experience in spacecraft mission design, development, integration, and testing
- Strong inclination for innovation in process improvement and system design
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written abilities
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance as a requirement of the role
- Must pass DoD level background checks for access to various government facilities
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer liaison during meetings, tests, and reviews to formulate operational plans, design missions, and confirm payload readiness
- Ensure timely completion of contract deliverables that meet customer expectations, translating client requirements into actionable development tasks
- Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to drive operational system development and work with subsystem representatives to ensure comprehensive mission success
- Participate throughout all program phases from development and initial proposals to testing, launch, and on-orbit commissioning, educating customers about our designs and approaches
