Senior Antenna Engineer - Starshield

- Bachelors degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering - 5+ years of research or development experience in RF and antennas - Over 5 years of experience with 3D EM simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, or XFDTD - Understanding of fundamental RF concepts including impedance matching, linear and aperture antennas, Smith chart, power handling metrics (IIP2, IMD), microwave network analysis, RF filter design - Masters degree or PhD in electrical engineering is preferred, especially if research/thesis work pertains to RF or antennas - Experience with RF systems encompassing SIGINT, ELINT, radar, or communications is favored - More than 7 years of programming proficiency in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB - Familiarity with RF system design, including radio astronomy, SIGINT, ELINT, radar, or wireless communications is a plus - Knowledge of antenna measurement methods and equipment such as anechoic and reverb chambers, near field EM measurements - Familiarity with RF circuit simulation tools like AWR, ADS, or Genesys is advantageous - Experience with antenna prototyping tools and techniques - Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and autonomous startup environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Genuine enthusiasm for progressing the commercial and National Security space industries - Eligible and willing to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
