Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field
- Over 1 year of professional development experience in C/C++ or Python
- More than 1 year of hands-on experience with radio testing equipment, including spectrum analyzers and vector signal analyzers
- At least 1 year of professional experience in RF technology, focusing on antennas or communication systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline
- Familiarity with testing both active and passive RF components such as filters and amplifiers
- Knowledge of key RF concepts including gain, linearity, and S-parameters
- Experience in software design principles and testing methodologies
- Background in environmental testing techniques and related equipment
- Proficient in troubleshooting interactions between software and hardware
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems
Responsibilities
- Lead program-level decisions regarding RF system architectures
- Investigate innovative solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems
- Create, assemble, validate, and automate RF testing setups for comprehensive characterization of customized RF designs
- Construct and develop modular, scalable RF testing frameworks and automation scripts in Python and C++ to assist in design validation
- Collaborate closely with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems
- Develop electromagnetic simulation models to assess hardware design and performance
