Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics
- Over 1 year of experience in software development using high-level programming languages such as C#, Python, or C++
- Hands-on experience with radio-related testing equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers
- Familiarity with serial digital communication protocols like SPI, I2C, JTAG, and RFFE
- Proficient in troubleshooting using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Experience working with Python, MATLAB, or JMP for data analysis
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, FPGAs, and digital signal processing concepts
- Strong debugging skills for both software and hardware
- Experience in designing, fabricating, and assembling quick-turn printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Understanding of data management, analysis, and presentation techniques
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques
- Experience in developing multi-threaded applications and systems
- Knowledgeable in both Windows and Linux operating system usage and administration
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary to meet key deadlines
Responsibilities
- Develop and construct innovative, technically complex automated measurement systems that standard equipment cannot achieve
- Initialize new silicon, often as the first engineer to activate chips for the initial time
- Create tools and reusable libraries for instrument control, data capture, and radio subsystem analysis
- Analyze measurement data to derive insights into both component and overall system performance
- Produce fully-validated reference designs for new silicon, including hardware and software drivers, and facilitate integration into subsequent areas like phased-array panel initiation, production, and flight software
