Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or physics - Over 2 years of experience managing engineering projects (internship and extracurricular experience is included) - More than 2 years of industry experience overseeing product technical requirements - At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical product design - A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management (covering technical scope, schedule, and cost) - Previous exposure to the entire consumer-facing hardware product life cycle - Strong problem-solving aptitude with minimal supervision and adherence to timelines - Proven ability to thrive in a highly cross-functional role - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, autonomous, and demanding startup environment - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Must be open to travel and willing to work extended hours or weekends as needed, up to 10%

Responsibilities

- Lead a product from conception to launch - collaborate with stakeholders to outline the roadmap, optimize manufacturability at scale, ensure designs cater to customer needs, coordinate product strategy, and facilitate launches into international markets - Act as the primary technical liaison for both internal and external parties to guarantee production milestones are met and product launches succeed - Serve as the business representative interfacing with customers, coordinating with stakeholders from business, UX, and engineering teams throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase - Convert new product strategies into business specifications and technical outcomes to meet market demands - Discover areas for enhancement through market research, data evaluations, and beta testing initiatives - Assist in engineering failure analysis and root cause examinations during the initial rollout and early production phases of new products - Inspire and guide colleagues to meet program objectives - Prepare and present relevant updates and deliverables to senior management
