Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or physics - 2+ years of experience leading engineering projects (internships and extracurricular activities count) - 2+ years of industry experience managing product technical requirements - 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical product design - 2+ years of experience in project management (technical scope, schedule, cost) - Experience with the complete consumer-facing hardware product life cycle - Proficient in solving complex issues independently and meeting deadlines - Proven ability to thrive in a cross-functional role - Capability to operate in a fast-paced, self-driven, and demanding startup environment - Strong written and verbal communication abilities - Willingness to travel and work extended hours/weekends as necessary (up to 10%)

Responsibilities

- Own a product from its design phase through to its launch, collaborating with stakeholders to outline the roadmap, ensure manufacturability at scale, tailor the design for customers, organize product mapping, and lead the launch to target international markets - Act as the primary technical liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring production targets are met and product launches are successful - Serve as the business contact for internal and external customers, coordinating with stakeholders from business, UX, and engineering teams during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase of projects - Convert new product strategies into business requirements and technical deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs for new product introductions - Identify and pursue opportunities for enhancement through market research, data analysis, and beta testing campaigns - Assist in engineering failure analysis and root cause investigations during the initial rollout and early production phases - Inspire and assist peers to reach program objectives - Prepare relevant updates and deliverables for senior management
