Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field
- Over 8 years of professional experience in C/C++ or Python programming
- Familiarity with radio testing equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers
- Experience in RF technologies, specifically with antennas or communication systems
Responsibilities
- Lead programmatic decisions regarding RF system architectures
- Investigate innovative solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems
- Develop, construct, validate, and automate RF test setups for comprehensive assessment of custom RF designs, utilizing equipment like vector network analyzers (VNA), vector signal generators (VSG), vector signal analyzers (VSA), and oscilloscopes
- Create scalable modular RF testing frameworks and automated test sequences in Python and C++ for design validation and production processes
- Collaborate closely with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers for RF system design and validation
- Develop simulations of electromagnetic models to assess hardware performance
