Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field
- Over 10 years of experience with antennas or communication systems (including internships and extracurricular projects)
- More than 10 years of expertise with radio test equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers
- At least 10 years of programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB
- Understanding of link budgets and communications analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a highly cross-functional role
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as required for critical deadlines
Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and analyze prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends for next-generation phased arrays, gateways, and consumer wireless products
- Develop electromagnetic simulation models of hardware (antennas, filters, PCB layout) to evaluate performance
- Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, digital signal processing, and software engineering teams to design and validate RF systems
- Create and test solutions for phased array alignment
- Rapidly devise design, validation, and production testing solutions for high-volume consumer products and gateway antennas
- Write automation software in Python to interact with units under test, testing equipment, instrumentation, and documentation systems
