Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering
- 8+ years of research or development experience in RF and antenna technology
- Proficiency with 3D EM simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, or XFDTD
- Knowledge of RF principles including impedance matching, linear and aperture antennas, Smith chart, power handling metrics (IIP2, IMD), microwave network analysis, and/or RF filter design
Responsibilities
- Design advanced antenna and feed systems for next generation products, including phased array and reflector systems
- Fabricate and evaluate prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends
- Collaborate on software development and testing of digital beamforming systems to validate phased array functionality
- Provide expertise on phased array specifications and troubleshooting for satellite phased array products
- Lead or assist in the integration of antennas with spacecraft and other systems
- Analyze field operational RF performance data and identify methods to enhance performance and resolve issues
