Power Systems Engineer - Electrical Focus

- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology - 3+ years of professional experience in the design or construction of commercial or industrial power systems - Primary expertise in electrical and power distribution systems (<600Vac) - Familiarity with delta/wye transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, building lighting, and construction specifications - Experience with critical power infrastructure such as UPS systems, backup generators, and automatic transfer switches - Proven ability to create and implement process/design solutions with minimal disruption to business operations - Capability to quickly diagnose issues and assist technicians with troubleshooting and repairs - Comfortable working in high-stress and high-concentration environments, including extended hours and tight deadlines - Exceptional attention to detail, with an ability to foresee interactions with other systems to prevent issues - Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit at a beginner to intermediate level - Knowledge of the National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Association, and International Building Code - Physical ability to perform hands-on work in diverse environments, including heat, cold, and wet conditions - Willingness to work onsite, as hybrid or remote options are not available - Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as required - Capacity to lift up to 25lbs unassisted - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
