NDE engineer

- Create and implement advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions - Design, prototype, and deploy nondestructive sensor systems for manufacturing quality challenges - Collaborate with vehicle engineering across various programs to establish inspection requirements and feasibility - Conduct early inspection development and validate processes to mitigate risks for new technologies - Partner with vendors and tooling groups to define project requirements and oversee project delivery - Assist in achieving targets such as nondestructive automation initiatives, enhanced detection probability, and defect reduction - Innovate in emerging nondestructive methodologies - Support NDE specialists in the development and rollout of new inspection processes, including training and documentation - Present risk and performance analyses to cross-functional teams, including executives - Manage multiple project priorities simultaneously - Define integration test plans for hardware products or software features aligning with program timelines - Facilitate discussions on nondestructive design and analysis with various teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing - Establish data collection and analysis pipelines throughout project stages - Troubleshoot hardware and software interactions during design, launch, and deployment phases - Utilize field data to enhance design and performance of NDE systems
