Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in physics, mathematics, or an engineering discipline
- Over 1 year of professional experience in dynamics
- Hands-on experience analyzing data or building hardware
- Proficiency in vibration and shock testing
- Familiarity with NASTRAN
- Experience in finite element modeling, particularly using FEMAP
- Knowledge of structural analysis, including strength, stability, and fatigue failure mechanisms
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve dynamics issues through methodical analysis and testing
- Conduct dynamic tests from start to finish, including pre-test analysis, sensor selection and installation, testing, data interpretation, signal processing, and model correlation
- Create finite element models
- Perform analyses utilizing both commercial and proprietary software, as well as develop new code
- Execute additional analyses aimed at enhancing products, such as satellite brightness assessments, stress evaluations, and fatigue studies
