Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering field - Minimum 1 year of experience with CAD and FEA software (Internships and co-ops are acceptable) - Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering preferred - Familiarity with mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and production - Background in quality/testing or operational settings - Proficient in statistics, data evaluation, cost/benefit assessments, and visualization techniques - Strong ability to identify opportunities for system enhancements and understand user requirements to translate into design specifications - Capable of prioritizing and executing assignments in a high-pressure setting with a continuous improvement mindset - Creative problem-solving approach, excellent analytical skills, and solid engineering fundamentals - Effective communication skills and ability to present ideas to engineering teams, internal clients, and leadership - Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required for critical deadlines - Strong collaborative skills, enthusiasm for innovation, and commitment to enhancing the reliability of advanced technologies

- Enhance the efficiency of testbed assembly by identifying and rectifying critical pain points, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in processes - Design and fabricate custom tools or fixtures, including heavy machinery and specialized equipment, to optimize testbed operations and construction - Develop new operational strategies to prolong the life, effectiveness, and performance of current and next-generation test systems - Oversee advancements in satellite avionics and guide testbed improvements to ensure full compatibility with the evolving Starlink satellite constellation
