Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Over 1 year of professional experience in building, deploying, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, printers, software, and IP networks in an enterprise setting
- Familiarity with and support for Microsoft technologies
- Experience with Mac iOS and Linux environments (preferred)
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, MCSE) are advantageous
- Understanding of audio-visual equipment is beneficial
- Ability to work independently while managing frequent interruptions
- Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills, given the high visibility of the role
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. for tasks such as delivering computers and equipment setup
- Valid drivers license required
- Availability to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends as necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide first, second, and third tier support to SpaceX employees
- Oversee on-site inventory and the overall lifecycle of IT assets
- Acquire, set up, and deploy computer hardware and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems both in person and remotely
- Configure and resolve issues with desktop, label, and multifunction printers
- Offer network support and troubleshooting, including device connectivity and VLAN configuration
- Configure non-traditional network-attached devices and integrate them with SpaceX infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams and other stakeholders to create innovative workflows and solutions for complex challenges
- Develop instructional documentation that simplifies technical concepts for non-technical audiences
