Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in assembling, deploying, and troubleshooting computing systems, peripherals, software, and IP networks in a corporate setting
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies
- Experience in supporting Mac iOS and Linux platforms (preferred)
- Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSE are a plus
- Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment
- Ability to handle mission-critical systems with a strong sense of urgency
- Capable of independent work while managing frequent interruptions
- Exceptional written, verbal, and telephone communication skills for high-visibility roles
- Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs for tasks like delivering computers and unpacking/rack-mounting equipment
- Valid drivers license required
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including potential overtime and weekends as necessary
Responsibilities
- Offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier assistance to SpaceX personnel
- Oversee on-site inventory management and the full lifecycle of IT assets
- Acquire, set up, and roll out computer systems and mobile devices
- Resolve software and hardware challenges, both in-person and remotely
- Set up and troubleshoot desktop, label, and multifunction printers
- Provide network support and troubleshoot connectivity issues, including VLAN configurations
- Configure non-traditional network-connected devices (such as production and test machinery) to work with SpaceXs infrastructure
- Create new workflows and solutions by collaborating with IT engineering teams and other internal/external stakeholders to tackle complex challenges
- Draft instructional materials and translate intricate technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical audiences
