GNC Engineer - Starlink

- Bachelors degree in computer science, aerospace, physics, or an engineering field - Proficient in software development with experience in C++ or Python - Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in an engineering discipline or physics (preferred) - Experience in developing, debugging, and deploying software for real-world applications - Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and foundational engineering knowledge - Hands-on experience with three-axis stabilized spacecraft including control methods - In-depth knowledge of orbital mechanics, low thrust trajectory optimization, and stationkeeping - Familiarity with GNC algorithm performance verification and simulation model validation - Knowledge of state estimation techniques, particularly in attitude and orbit determination - Understanding of collision probability methods like Alfano, Foster, and Hall - General familiarity with spacecraft flight disciplines including structures, propulsion, avionics, and dynamics - Ability to independently identify and tackle complex challenges - Passion for the advancement of the commercial space sector - Capable of thriving in a high-paced, start-up environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
