Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or a STEM field; OR 2+ years of professional experience in full stack software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Proficient in C# and TypeScript, or extensive full stack software development experience
- Familiarity with real-world software applications and projects
- Understanding of web services and network systems
- Experience with AWS or cloud environment development
- Competence in Linux server environments, SSH, scripting, and configuration
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container orchestration tools
- Experience with Service Workers and IndexedDB
- Skilled in PostgreSQL or creating high-performance databases
- Background in image data processing and machine learning
- Experience in developing graphics-intensive web applications
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highly reliable software systems that manage remote sensor payloads on multiple satellites in low earth orbit and analyze the collected data
- Innovate to create an engaging earth observation experience for users in both office and field settings
- Oversee the complete software lifecycle: from identifying core requirements to prototyping, development, testing, and production deployment
