Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field, along with 1+ years of full-stack software development experience; or 3+ years of relevant professional experience may substitute for a degree (including internships)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, Go, Scala, Java, or other object-oriented languages
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators such as Kubernetes
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or similar
- Knowledge of database management systems including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or comparable technologies
- Understanding of version control systems, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes
- Skills in performance profiling and enhancement of applications
- Experience with build tools (Make, Bazel/Pants/Buck, Gradle) and package managers (pip, npm)
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in task execution
- Familiarity with UNIX-like operating systems and CI/CD tools
- Networking expertise in Routing and MPLS Protocols, including BGP, ISIS, and Segment Routing
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Commitment to providing outstanding user experiences and accountability for results.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient, responsive, and high-performance web applications
- Create robust and dependable software solutions for Starlink
- Construct and deploy fault-tolerant networks that maintain long-term operation with minimum upkeep at scale
- Produce high-quality TypeScript React code for current web browsers
- Engage in full stack application development using a .NET micro-service architecture within Kubernetes
- Prioritize continuous monitoring and alerting to facilitate data-driven business strategies and enhance system quality and observability
- Collaborate with internal partners to promote successful business results
- Coordinate with other engineering teams within Starlink to refine our engineering methodologies in architecture, design, and code evaluations
- Investigate and address user challenges to develop effective solutions
- Contribute actively to team discussions on architecture, design, and code assessments.
