Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience in place of a degree
- Proficiency in full stack development
- Over 5 years of experience in web applications development (preferred)
- Proven skills in system architecture with the ability to create robust and scalable designs
- Expertise in C#, .NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, TypeScript
- Proficient in Python and PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
- Knowledge of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and continuous monitoring processes
- Experience in scaling web applications and enhancing performance
- Solid grasp of UI/UX design principles for intuitive applications
- Excellent creative and innovative problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated initiative, with a capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in software development for manufacturing, production, or quality systems (preferred)
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Responsibilities
- Develop highly dependable software solutions used across SpaceX
- Oversee all facets of software engineering and product development
- Act as a lead engineer for various software products
- Maintain the highest standards of excellence and never accept mediocrity
- Engage deeply with user challenges and devise efficient solutions
- Provide strong technical guidance with a focus on continuous enhancement
- Identify issues within our application or ERP systems and implement improvements
- Monitor usage of applications and features, and suggest/implement enhancements
