Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline focused on electrical engineering and electronics
- Over 1 year of experience in electronic hardware or software development, which can include academic projects, internships, or professional roles
- More than 1 year of programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or Embedded C/C++
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain tailored test solutions for flight hardware that includes in-house developed electronic systems, optics, RF antennas and modulators, along with electro-mechanical systems
- Select commercial off-the-shelf components and/or create custom PCBs for signal measurement, applying flight-like loads, and powering units under evaluation
- Create automation scripts in Python to manage units under test, testing equipment, instrumentation, and production documentation systems
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and test laboratory teams to foster innovation in design and infrastructure, aimed at enhancing product reliability and yield
- Identify and address testing anomalies and failures throughout various testing and developmental phases to guarantee understanding and implement corrective actions

As part of our commitment to enhancing safe and rapid access to space while improving the reliability of our extensive on-orbit mega-constellations, we have established an advanced 230 MeV cyclotron for in-house radiation single event effects testing. We are currently seeking exceptional electronics test engineers to join our dynamic Radiation Effects team. This position will focus on ensuring avionics hardware performance across our diverse fleet, including Dragon, Falcon, Starship, and Lunar Human Landing System, as well as satellites such as Starlink and Starshield. We offer a unique environment where you can design and develop cutting-edge test systems. This role is based on-site in Winter Garden, Florida.
