Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical, computer engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in designing electrical systems including components, circuits, PCBAs, or electronic assemblies
- Familiarity with system architecture, supply chain management, purchasing, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in non-destructive and destructive testing methods
- Soldering skills
- Basic coding knowledge in Python and/or SQL
- Strong analytical abilities and teamwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends to address urgent needs
Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor, communicate, and manage part change notifications and new part requests
- Review bills of materials for new projects to verify the use of reliable components
- Assist in resolving EEE part reliability issues for Starlink while driving risk mitigation solutions
- Collaborate with external parties such as component manufacturers and testing labs to oversee outsourcing tasks, schedule data assessments, or follow established protocols
- Work closely with supply chain, design engineers, and production/manufacturing teams
- Perform dimensional and destructive evaluations on high-risk products
