Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Python or SQL
- Familiarity with inventory systems, logistics workflows, and/or supply chain tools
- Experience with C#, C++, or Angular
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts including pods, services, deployments, and namespaces
- Successful track record in creating impactful data visualizations using tools like PowerBI, Grafana, or Metabase
- Background in developing backend services using APIs (such as Celery, FastAPI, Django) and facilitating system-to-system data exchanges in logistics and supply chain settings
- Proven ability to create custom forecasting tools and planning systems
- Understanding of MRP/ERP, WMS, or similar supply chain applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in evolving and unclear scenarios
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in cross-functional program management
- Capability to work extended hours or weekends to meet deployment commitments
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for site launches, integrations, or incident management
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete workflow for deploying and optimizing Starlink Ground Network operations
- Design and automate systems to enhance the flow of antennas, optical hardware, and essential spare parts through inventory and logistics while considering stock levels, telemetry data, and predictive failure models
- Construct and sustain forecasting engines to estimate hardware requirements based on deployment plans and team objectives
- Design backend services, APIs, and workflows for integrating planning, logistics, and inventory systems (Warpdrive ERP/MRP, third-party logistics APIs)
- Automate supply chain tasks, including inventory synchronization, order creation, kitting, shipment verification, and spare parts replenishment
- Refine and scale data ingestion and delivery systems to accommodate increased deployment activity and geographical growth
- Develop tools and dashboards for monitoring real-time metrics regarding shipments, inventory, deployment timelines, and reliability
- Detect and rectify inefficiencies in material handling and logistics, establishing standardized processes and key performance indicators
- Create and monitor performance metrics for the building, deployment, and ongoing maintenance/reliability of the Ground Network hardware (antennas, network/optical devices)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert engineering needs into system specifications and boost adoption
- Assist in emergency deployments and incident responses by managing crucial operational and data workflows
